The Britsh Camp & Vistors to the Country Pub | Best Food in Malvern!
The Malvern Hills are an impressive cluster of summits. The highest point is the Worcestershire Beacon at the Northern end of the range. Entry to the three paths from the British camp, which features a large car park for visitors to the area. The best news for walkers of all abilities is that the hills get lower the further south you walk.
Starting from the car park at British Camp, the walk climbs to the summit of Herefordshire Beacon, with its Iron Age hill-fort and spectacular views. The walk continues southward via Millenium and Hangman’s Hills, before descending via the Silurian Pass towards Castlemorton Common. The walk then climbs steeply to Swinyard Hill, with 360′ views, then back northward via Giant’s Cave to the car park. Although the walk involves quite a bit of uphill and downhill walking, the paths are clear and in good condition, with stone steps on the steepest sections.
